Water consistently when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. In hotter, drier periods, increase watering frequency.

Reduce watering during cooler winter months when the plant's growth slows significantly.

Prune to maintain desired shape and size, and to encourage bushier growth. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches anytime. Light pruning can be done after flowering to tidy up the plant.

For vigorous growth control, prune more heavily in early spring.

Propagate by stem cuttings taken in spring or early summer. Dip cuttings in rooting hormone and plant in well-draining potting mix. Keep moist and warm until roots develop.

Seeds can also be sown in spring, but germination may be erratic.

Repot young plants annually in spring, and mature plants every 2-3 years as needed when root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one.
