Ensure good drainage to avoid standing water, which can harm the bulbs.

Remove spent flowers and yellowing leaves promptly to encourage more blooms and maintain a tidy appearance. Trim back any leggy or overgrown stems to maintain a compact shape.

You can also cut back the entire plant if it becomes untidy after flowering.

Propagate by dividing the bulb clusters in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. You can also collect and sow seeds in spring. Seedlings may take a year or two to mature and bloom.

Repot every 1-2 years in early spring before new growth emerges, or when the pot becomes crowded. Use a well-draining potting mix. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one to avoid overwatering.
