Pinch back stem tips regularly to encourage bushier growth and prevent the plant from becoming leggy. Remove any yellowing or dead leaves promptly to maintain plant health and appearance.

Pruning can also be used to shape the plant and control its size. Aim for light pruning to maintain a full, attractive form.

Pogostemon auricularius is easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take 4-6 inch cuttings from healthy stems, remove the lower leaves, and plant them in moist potting mix or water. Roots typically form within a few weeks.
