Prospero depressum prefers consistently moist soil but dislikes waterlogged conditions. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry.

Reduce watering slightly in winter to mimic its natural dormancy period, allowing the soil to dry out a little more between waterings.

Prune Prospero depressum primarily to maintain its shape and remove any dead, damaged, or leggy stems.

Light pruning can be done anytime, but heavier pruning to encourage bushier growth is best done in early spring before new growth begins. Use clean, sharp tools.

Prospero depressum can be propagated from stem cuttings. Take 5-10 cm cuttings from healthy stems in late spring or early summer. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in moist, well-draining potting mix.
