Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Reduce watering significantly during winter dormancy to prevent fungal diseases. Ensure good drainage in the pot.

Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing stems. Cut back stems to a healthy bud or side shoot. Light pruning can be done anytime to manage size.

Propagate from basal cuttings taken in spring or from root cuttings. Cuttings should be about 5-10 cm long and rooted in a well-draining medium in a warm environment. Rooting hormone can improve success rates.

Repot young plants annually in spring, and mature plants every 2-3 years, or when root-bound. Use a general-purpose potting mix with added perlite for improved drainage.
