Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top few centimeters of soil feel dry.

Reduce watering slightly during winter dormancy, allowing the soil to dry out a little more between waterings. Avoid overhead watering to prevent fungal issues.

Remove spent flower stalks as they fade to encourage reblooming and maintain a tidy appearance. After flowering, trim back any yellowing or damaged leaves.

In late autumn or early spring, cut back any remaining dead foliage to the ground.

Pulmonaria carnica is best propagated by division in early spring or autumn. Carefully dig up the plant and divide the root ball into smaller sections, ensuring each section has healthy roots and shoots.

Replant immediately into prepared soil.

Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes pot-bound. This is best done in early spring before new growth begins. Use a well-draining potting mix and a pot only slightly larger than the current one.
