Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months, but never allow the soil to dry out completely.

Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot, especially in containers.

Prune to maintain shape, remove dead or damaged stems, and encourage bushier growth. Light pruning can be done at any time. For more significant shaping, prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Remove spent flowers to encourage more blooms.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take 10-15 cm cuttings from healthy stems and remove lower leaves. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and insert into moist potting mix or perlite.

Keep the cuttings in a warm, humid location with bright, indirect light until roots form.

Repot every 1-2 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix. Repot in spring, just as new growth appears.
