Water regularly, especially during dry spells, ensuring the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot.

Reduce watering in winter when the plant is dormant.

Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead, diseased, or crossing branches. Cut back the main stems by about one-third to one-half to encourage bushier growth and abundant blooms.

Clean cuts promote healing.

Propagate by taking semi-ripe cuttings in summer or hardwood cuttings in autumn. Cuttings should be 15-20 cm long, with the bottom leaves removed. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and insert into moist potting mix.

Keep in a warm, humid environment.

Repot young plants annually in spring. Mature plants can be repotted every 2-3 years or when root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix and a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one.
