Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top centimeter of soil feels dry to the touch. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months, but avoid letting the soil dry out completely.

Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Prune to maintain shape and remove any dead or leggy stems. Trim back overgrown shoots to encourage bushier growth. This can be done anytime, but is most beneficial in spring before new growth emerges.

Remove flowering stalks if desired.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Take cuttings of about 10-15 cm and remove lower leaves. Plant them in moist potting mix or place them in water. Roots usually form within a few weeks.

Once rooted, transplant into individual pots.

Repot every 1-2 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix.

Repotting is best done in spring when the plant is actively growing.
