Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot, especially in containers.

Prune to shape the plant, remove dead or crossing branches, and encourage bushier growth. Light pruning can be done year-round, but heavier pruning is best after flowering.

Remove spent flowers to promote further blooming. Pinch back young stems to maintain a compact form.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in spring or summer. Dip cuttings in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining, moist medium. Maintain high humidity and warmth for successful rooting.
