Watering, pruning, propagation, and repotting details from plant data
Water Argyranthemum thalassophilum thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.
Ensure good drainage in the pot and garden bed to prevent waterlogged conditions, especially during cooler months.
Prune Argyranthemum thalassophilum regularly to encourage bushier growth and abundant flowering. Deadhead spent blooms to prevent seed formation and prolong the flowering period.
Light pruning can be done after flowering to maintain shape and size.
Propagate Argyranthemum thalassophilum from stem cuttings taken in spring or early summer. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining potting mix.
Keep the cuttings moist and warm until roots develop.
Repot Argyranthemum thalassophilum every 2-3 years or when it becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix. Repot in spring before new growth begins.
