Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Avoid heavy pruning, as this can reduce flowering.

Pruning in late winter or early spring before new growth begins is also beneficial.

Propagate from seeds sown in spring or semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer. Seeds may require scarification or soaking before sowing. Cuttings should be rooted in a well-draining medium in a warm, humid environment.
