Prune to maintain shape and remove any dead, damaged, or leggy stems. Pinching back the tips of new growth can encourage a bushier habit.

Pruning can be done anytime during the growing season, but it's best to avoid heavy pruning before winter.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings or leaf cuttings. Allow cuttings to callus over for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Roots readily form in spring and summer.

Seed propagation is also possible but slower and less common for home growers.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its container. Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. Repot in spring before new growth begins.
