Prune to maintain shape, remove dead or crossing branches, and control size. Use clean, sharp pruning shears.

Light pruning can be done anytime, while heavier pruning is best done in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove any aerial roots that become problematic.

Propagate primarily through stem cuttings. Take 10-15 cm cuttings from healthy stems, remove lower leaves, and dip the cut end in rooting hormone.

Plant in moist potting mix and maintain high humidity and warmth until roots develop. Air layering is also an effective method.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one. Repotting is best done in spring.
