Water Diascia rigescens regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during the growing season. Reduce watering in winter when the plant is less active.

Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.

Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage continuous blooming and a more attractive plant. You can also prune back leggy stems by about a third in mid-summer to promote bushier growth and a fresh flush of flowers.
