Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry.

Reduce watering significantly during the winter dormant period to prevent root rot.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead or leggy stems at any time. Pruning can also be done to propagate new plants. Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears for a neat cut.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings. Cut a healthy stem and let it callus over for a few days. Plant the cutting in well-draining soil. Keep the soil slightly moist until roots form, which typically takes a few weeks.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant outgrows its container. Choose a pot only slightly larger than the current one with drainage holes. Use a gritty, well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. Repot in spring.
