Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months, but never allow the soil to dry out completely.

Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Prune to maintain shape and size, and to remove any dead or damaged stems. Light pruning can be done at any time, but heavier pruning is best done after flowering.

This vigorous climber can become quite large if not managed.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings taken in spring or summer. Ensure cuttings have at least two nodes. Plant them in well-draining potting mix and keep the soil moist and the environment warm.

Rooting hormone can be beneficial.

Repot young plants annually, and mature plants every 2-3 years, or when root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one to avoid overwatering issues.

Repot in spring.
