Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of death for Echeveria pallida, leading to root rot. In winter, reduce watering significantly as the plant enters dormancy.

Check the soil moisture by feeling it with your finger.

Prune to remove dead or damaged leaves and to maintain the desired shape. Echeveria pallida can become leggy if it doesn't receive enough light.

Pruning can also be done to propagate new plants from stem cuttings or leaf cuttings.

Propagate Echeveria pallida through leaf cuttings or stem cuttings. For leaf cuttings, gently twist a healthy leaf from the stem and allow it to callus for a few days before placing it on well-draining soil.

For stem cuttings, cut a portion of the stem and plant it in soil after callusing.

Repot Echeveria pallida every 2-3 years or when it outgrows its current container. Use a well-draining succulent or cactus potting mix. Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Repotting is best done in spring before active growth begins.
