Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch.

Reduce watering slightly in cooler months, allowing the soil to dry out a bit more between waterings to prevent root rot.

Prune to shape the plant, remove dead or damaged branches, and encourage bushier growth. Light pruning can be done anytime, but heavier pruning is best done after flowering.

Pinch back young shoots to promote a more compact form.
