Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain completely to prevent root rot.

Reduce watering frequency during cooler months and periods of dormancy, but never let the soil dry out completely.

Prune to maintain desired shape and size, and to remove dead or damaged branches. Light pruning can be done anytime, but heavier pruning is best performed in early spring before new growth begins.

This encourages bushier growth and can improve flowering.

Propagate Tephrosia andrewii from seeds sown in spring, or by stem cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Seeds may require scarification or stratification for better germination.

Cuttings should be rooted in a well-draining medium.
