Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering is the most common cause of failure. Allow soil to dry out between waterings, especially during cooler months.

Prune to maintain shape and remove any dead or damaged leaves or stems. Pinch back growing tips to encourage bushier growth. Pruning can be done in spring or early summer before significant growth occurs.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings or individual leaves. Allow cuttings to callus for a few days before planting in well-draining soil. Leaves can also be placed on soil surface to root. New plants emerge quickly.

Repot every 2-3 years or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend. Repot in spring when active growth begins. Ensure the new pot has drainage holes.
