Khella is typically propagated by seeds sown directly outdoors in early spring after the last frost, or started indoors a few weeks prior. Seeds germinate best with light stratification.

Division of established clumps is also possible in spring.

Repotting is rarely necessary as Khella is often grown as an annual or biennial and may not live long enough to require it. If grown in a container and it becomes root-bound, repot into a slightly larger container in early spring before active growth begins.
