Keep the substrate consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use distilled, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water exclusively, as tap water minerals can harm Nepenthes.

Allow the top centimeter of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings, especially during cooler periods. Reduce watering slightly in winter.

Prune to maintain shape or remove old, senescing pitchers and leaves. Cut back stems to encourage bushier growth. Sterilize pruning tools to prevent disease transmission.

Pruning can also be done to harvest mature pitchers if desired.

Nepenthes mirabilis can be propagated by stem cuttings or seeds. Stem cuttings root relatively easily when placed in a moist, humid environment.

Seeds require specific germination conditions and are generally slower to establish. Division of mature plants can also be successful.

Repot every 1-2 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining, acidic substrate, typically a mix of sphagnum moss and perlite or coarse sand.

Repot in spring or early summer when the plant is actively growing. Handle the roots gently to avoid damage.
