Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Tuberose prefers slightly dry conditions and can be prone to root rot if overwatered, especially during dormancy.

Reduce watering significantly in fall and winter when the plant is not actively growing.

Remove spent flower stalks once blooming is complete to encourage further flowering and tidy the plant's appearance. After the foliage dies back in late fall or winter, cut it to the ground.

Do not remove live leaves prematurely.

Tuberose is primarily propagated by division of its offsets or bulblets. Separate these from the mother plant during repotting in spring.

Plant the offsets in well-draining soil, keeping them slightly moist until established.

Repot tuberose every 2-3 years or when the pot becomes crowded. This is best done in early spring before new growth begins. Use a well-draining potting mix and a pot that is only slightly larger than the previous one.
