Twinberry Honeysuckle prefers consistent moisture. Water deeply when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry, especially during dry spells. Avoid waterlogged conditions, which can lead to root rot.

Reduce watering in fall and winter as growth slows, but do not let the soil dry out completely.

Prune to shape and manage size, typically after flowering. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can be done to encourage bushier growth.

For older plants, rejuvenation pruning can be performed by cutting back one-third of the oldest stems to near ground level each year over three years.

Propagation is usually done by semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer or by seed. Seeds require stratification (a period of cold, moist treatment) to germinate.

Cuttings should be placed in moist, well-draining potting mix and kept in a humid environment until roots form.

Young plants may benefit from repotting every 2-3 years into slightly larger containers. Choose a pot with adequate drainage holes. Use a well-draining potting mix. Repot in early spring before new growth begins.
