Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly during winter months to prevent root rot. Ensure good drainage to avoid standing water.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove spent flowers and any dead or diseased branches. Tip-pruning young shoots can promote a more compact form.

Heavy pruning can be done in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Easily propagated from stem cuttings taken during spring or summer. Select healthy, non-flowering shoots, cut them about 10-15 cm long, and remove lower leaves.

Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in moist potting mix. Keep warm and humid until roots form.
