Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during dry periods. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

Reduce watering in winter when the plant is less active.

Prune to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead or faded flowers to promote further blooming. Light pruning can be done after flowering or in early spring before new growth begins.
