Whorled Marshpennywort thrives in consistently moist to waterlogged conditions. Water frequently to keep the soil saturated, especially during warmer months.

In aquatic setups, ensure the water level remains high, fully covering the root system. Reduce watering slightly in cooler periods but never let the substrate dry out completely.

Pruning is minimal and primarily for aesthetic purposes or to manage spread. Trim away any yellowing or dead leaves as they appear.

If the plant becomes too dense or encroaches on other plants, you can thin it out by removing excess stems. This can be done anytime during the growing season.

Propagation is very easy. Whorled Marshpennywort readily spreads via runners. Simply divide the plant or cut sections of runners that have developed roots. These can be planted directly into moist soil or water.

New plants will establish quickly, making it an excellent groundcover or pond-edge plant.

Repotting is generally only necessary if the plant outgrows its container or if its aquatic environment needs maintenance.

If grown in a pot, choose a slightly larger container and fresh, nutrient-rich potting mix or aquatic soil. This is best done in spring before the main growth spurt.
