Keep soil consistently moist during the growing season (spring and summer), but avoid waterlogging. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry.

Reduce watering significantly in autumn and winter, allowing the soil to dry out more between waterings to prevent root rot.

Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. To encourage bushier growth and more flowers, tip prune young plants regularly.

Hard pruning can be done to rejuvenate older plants.

Easily propagated from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late summer or early autumn. Insert cuttings into a moist, well-draining potting mix. Rooting can be encouraged with bottom heat and a propagator.

Once rooted, transplant into individual pots.
