Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during hot, dry periods. Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Reduce watering in cooler months when growth slows down.

A good indicator is when the top centimeter of soil feels dry to the touch.

Pinch back young plants to encourage bushier growth. Remove spent flowers regularly to promote continuous blooming. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to shape the plant and remove any dead or damaged stems.

Easily propagated from seeds sown directly in the garden after the last frost, or started indoors a few weeks prior. Cuttings can also be taken from healthy, non-flowering shoots in spring or summer and rooted in moist soil or water.
