Ensure adequate drainage in pots.

Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Avoid heavy pruning, as Eremophila acrida may not respond well to drastic cutting back.

Pruning can also help manage its size.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late spring or early summer. Dip cuttings in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining medium. Maintain high humidity and warmth until roots form.

Seed propagation is also possible but can be less reliable.

Repot only when necessary, typically every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a free-draining potting mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend, with added perlite.
