Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

Reduce watering frequency in cooler months but avoid letting the soil become completely parched.

Prune to shape the plant, remove dead or damaged branches, and encourage bushier growth. Light pruning can be done after flowering to maintain size and form.

Heavy pruning is best performed in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.

Propagate from seeds sown in spring or from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer. Seeds may require stratification.

Cuttings should be treated with rooting hormone and placed in well-draining soil, kept moist and warm until established.

Repot young plants annually in spring. Mature plants can be repotted every 2-3 years, or when root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix.

Choose a pot one size larger than the current one to provide ample space for root growth.
