Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure good drainage is provided.

Prune Pulsatilla X after flowering to maintain a tidy appearance and prevent excessive self-seeding. Remove spent flower stalks. If the plant becomes leggy, a light trim can encourage bushier growth.

Dead foliage can be removed in late winter.
