Avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot. Ensure good drainage in the pot and soil.

Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Avoid heavy pruning, as it can reduce flowering.

Pruning is best done in late spring or early summer.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in summer. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and insert into a well-draining propagation mix. Maintain warmth and humidity until roots form.

Alternatively, seeds can be sown in spring, but germination can be slow.
