Ensure excellent drainage, especially in pots, to mimic its natural sandy or saline environments.

Pruning is generally not required for Suaeda aegyptiaca unless you need to manage its size or shape. If pruning is necessary, do so in early spring before new growth begins.

Remove any dead or leggy stems to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage bushier growth.

Propagation is typically done through seeds or stem cuttings. Sow seeds in well-draining soil in spring, keeping them moist and warm.

For cuttings, take 8-10 cm tip cuttings in spring or summer, dip in rooting hormone, and plant in moist, sandy soil. Rooting can take several weeks.
