Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry out between waterings, especially during warmer months.

Reduce watering in winter to prevent root rot. Ensure good drainage to avoid standing water.

Prune to shape the plant and encourage bushier growth. Remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. Light pruning can be done anytime, but heavier pruning is best after flowering.

Pinch back young shoots to promote a more compact form.

Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings taken in late spring or summer. Dip the cut end in rooting hormone and plant in a well-draining potting mix.

Keep the cuttings warm and humid, and they should root within several weeks. Softwood cuttings can also be used.

Repot every 2-3 years in spring, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a blend of peat moss, perlite, and compost.

Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one to avoid overwatering.
